PAUL-CAMILLE GENTON, PRESIDENT
Paul Camille Genton is a medical physician from Switzerland who works for a few months at the Ifakara Health Institute in Tanzania. While partaking in an internship in Cameroun, he experienced firsthand the reality of healthcare in areas with limited resources and its interdependence with the overall economic situation of the population. While still a student, he co-founded a successful NGO in Switzerland that creates tandems between refugees and local, established Swiss residents (www.projet-paires.ch). Following the success of this project, he decided to co-found Kazi Startfunding based on the conviction that improving access to financial assistance in areas with limited resources could be the key to success for economic development and sustainability.

Oumaima Al Qoh, Secretary
Ms.Oumaima was born in Morocco and is a community-oriented individual soon to have her Master's degree in Management of Innovation with a minor in business analytics. She is Driven by a deep passion for projects that create a positive impact.
With a background in the startup world, specifically management and business development, she is currently the secretary of Kazi since 2023.
One of her greatest joys is spending time in the kitchen, indulging her passion for cooking, and discovering new dishes. She believes that food has the extraordinary ability to bring people together, fostering connections and creating memorable experiences.
LUCAS GIANNINI, Treasurer
Avec plus de 6 ans d'expérience dans le commerce international et le développement des affaires en Afrique, Lucas Giannini est à l'aise avec les affaires dans la plupart des régions du monde, tout en bénéficiant d'un réseau mondial. Lorsque Paul-Camille l'a appelé afin de créer Kazi Startfunding, Lucas a été immédiatement motivé. Lucas croit en les capacités des gens et souhaite aider à créer de bonnes conditions afin que les gens puissent atteindre leurs objectifs et ainsi contribuer au développement social. Lucas est titulaire d'un BSc en Management de l’HEC Lausanne et d'un MBA de l'Université Tsinghua conjointement avec le MIT. Il a vécu en Afrique, en Amérique latine, en Europe et en Chine et parle français, anglais, espagnol et chinois mandarin.
Maria Bardina, IT specialist
Maria was born in Russia and has been collaborating with the Swiss team since 2022. She obtained a law degree in 2016. But changed her life completely and now she’s been a QA Engineer for more than 8 years. She's in charge of the Kazi website and other IT needs. In the summer of 2022 Maria met several project leaders personally in Ifakara Tanzania and also visited past and current projects funded by Kazi.
Johans Piña Leal, responsible for communications
Johans was born in Mexico and lives in Switzerland. He is currently working as an administrative assistant in a company in French-speaking Switzerland. Johans joined Kazi Startfunding in 2023 and is in charge of communication.
Raymond Desarzens, responsible for fundraising
Lionel Cachin, Vice-president
Lionel was born in Switzerland and obtained a Master’s degree in 2020 at the University of Lausanne in history and French language. He also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in geography, history and French. After working for several NGOs and start-ups, he is currently working in the field of marketing, communication and web edition. Lionel went to Ifakara in Tanzania in 2022 and met several project leaders who received a Loan from Kazi Startfunding and had the chance to visit the current and past projects
